new kid on the blog :-)

hi all!

funny things, those birthdays... people go along with their lives while others open up development blogs for them because they just got fed up with accually hearing what they have to say.

just open a blog and shut up they tell me... :-)

so they opened me a blog...

this is the story of how this blog came to be.

a couple of things about me... will be revealed at a later post not because i'm trying to be mysteriouse but because i'm just plain lazy.

this blog will be dedicated for writing about front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), usability and good food.

that's it for now, signing off.

  1. Hi Yuval,
It's great to see your first post!
Over the years I keep hearing you speaking very passionately about client-side programming.

I have some experience with HTML and CSS but nothing that comes from a real understanding of the logics behind it and the ways to make it cross-browsers.

What are the milestones that I have to go through inorder to make my superficicial HTML-CSS understanding into something that allows me to create cross-browser production level web-pages (good for internet explorer 6, 7, firefox, safari and opera) ?

I really want the headlines that once googled will give me the relevant information.

this is a very interesting question and i'll be happy to explain further.

i have some articles i wrote exactly about this subject, but alas, they are written in hebrew. so give me some time to translate them and i'll post them here.
